past couple of months

....has been total shit to steady as hell. I'm sorta glad where I stand today, and it's all thanks to my family! Havent had totall access to the internet via desktop wise. All I do is work, work work work. Do have some projects in mind, but still....have no time to do anything whatsoever.

It's been a rough month, bare with me! So here's something I just made which made me happy how it turned out!! Not finished...maybe? Who knows!

First hike in years.

Monday I went on a hike which I thought from the research I gather about the trail...was for beginners. It was, but I think me and my friend went the hard way first to get up to a certain point! Boy, did it kick my ass! A good ass kicking tho, it was a good time. Went super early, parking lot for the hikers was still closed so we had to park a good couple blocks away from the residential area. Took her dog with is on this adventure. we didn't make it all around. We did make a save point for our return next time which is probably next week! Would want to make this a normal thing we do, go hiking every week! Gotta do something different with my life...

Flowers For All Occasions

This is probably the main thing as of now...In my life...that I'm most talented in so far. I honestly love doing floral arrangements, and to some this is a shocker because people can't see me doing this for a job. Yes, I'm a florist, floral designer and it's pretty awesome. I love the feedback I get and to know that I'm the person they go for whenever they need an arrangement done is a pretty good accomplishment. I've been doing this for over 5 years, it's a family tradition since my father has been doing it since he was 16! Never thought I'd be doing this, considering I've been to school to become a Game Designer. This is my fallback, something I'd want to do with the family like a business. If there is a way, which there probably is, I'd be opening up a good shop! For now, I just have to wait till things settle in.

Here are some of my creativeness!

Just made this Halloween Party Flyer for a friend from work. Turned out pretty good, way better then what I had last night thats for sure! Just used the font PowerPlay for the title, and some grunge brushes for the bottom background. Had to download some Halloween Vector brushes to make it more Halloweenish! Blend Blend BLEND!!! Loved it, loved how the skeletons turned out too :)

What a week.

I started my new job already this week, and yes, it's exhausting! Having to take care some of the nastiest kids of the school can be a hassle. It's going to take some time for me to settle with these kids that's for sure. Still it's some time to get used to this change, still exciting to look forward to.


I seriously miss my best friend, even tho we still communicate via phone it's not the same of him gaming next to me and having that bond I don't have with anyone else! Times like these I seriously miss him for some reason....he's safe so that's all that matters right?

Cross my fingers, hope for a new chapter in my life.

                                        WELL THEN!!

Seems like things are going ok for me, JUST ok...lets not jinx it for me. I have been offered a job at a school dealing with behavioral kids which is a DIFFERENT route for me come to think about it. Then again, I think it's a good route to take and it's something new for me to explore. I hope it goes well and make me love to come back to it everyday, I've been told it's a love and hate relationship job but I have all the patience in the world for this. I promise Cree that I'll be blogging more, and it's just been a rough week due to me loosing my battle buddy for about a year...I miss him.

Back into Gears!

       Gears of War 3| Mutators-Instagib Melee

So it has been a while since I've played this game, I do put in effort to play here and there but now for some reason I've gotten back to where the point where I just think about this game! Don't get me wrong, Gears of War trilogy is and always will be one of my favorite games of all time! I've been back and forth on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Minecraft.

I was playing with a good friend of mine on Horde Mode of Gears and he had some pretty sweet mutators that I didn't, and one of them was the Instagib Melee. Didn't know what that meant really, for some reason I thought when I melee attack someone I'm able to do some heavy damage to them. WRONG! Totally WRONG! This mutator gives an instant kill once you melee the other opponent! Which is freaking AWESOME, even though in a way...it's a cheap move but it's handy in some ways. For example: It was wave 10 (Boss Wave) and was up against 4 Berserkers. Took down all those blind mofos with a hit! SINGLE HIT! IT WAS AMAZING!

Like I said, it was a cheap move, I mean taking down Grinders and Boomers with a hit! Party is definitely over. Since I've experienced something this amazing I just had to do it myself. Kill 200 humans as a Wretch on Beast Mode. Pretty simple in a way, if you have someone else help you down the humans you can get it in short time.

Still working on unlocking all of the achievements on this game and the Mutators. Going to be a long shot but hey, I think I still have time before Judgement Day comes out.

back in action!

So, I just have to thank one person for getting me back into the loop of doing edits! It's been a while, but I think I haven't lost my touch just yet. Still, I think I should look into more tutorials of how to edit pictures as in color enhancements and what not! More brushes, more logos for some important people. I think I might just turn this blog into a multi blog where I'd discuss my gaming, edits, and my passion for floral arrangements!

Needless to say, I have a lot of working to do!

So the last couple of weeks have been kind of rough, been feeling kinda out of the loop when it comes to gaming. Real life shit, such a pain in the ass! Going to move in a month or so, which I can't fuckin wait since I'll be having the TV all to myself with no roomies to steal it from! Stress freeee, is the way to beeeee! (:

Right now, I've been watching a lot of Dragonball Z! So hoooked! Forgot how good this show is, right now I'm on season 7! The World Tournament is afoot! Goku is back from the dead for one day to join in besides his family Gohan and Goten.

I love Vegeta ;)

Still playing Gears of War 3

at the moment. Yes, there are other games I'd like to give a shot but for now this game has all my attention! I fuckin love it, love Gears. The next game I'd probably be getting is the new Elder Scrolls, keep in mind that I am not a huge fan of the series. Then again, it's time to step up my gaming on the RPG world. It looks beautiful, looks promising.

Gears of War 3 Review

Epic, Madness, Emotional, Brilliant. 

So, I think this would be my second review on a game that I’ve gotten and beaten. Just campaign (Story), there are much to do on this Gears of War 3 game. So this won’t be some hardcore review, just the words out of my mouth of how amazing Epic Games ended the Trilogy of Gears of War. 

Campaign/Story:

I loved it, started off pretty crazy with having the COG members already in battle with the Lambents (mutated Locust). I won’t go into full detail of the storyline here, because that would take up all night for me to write up! In other words, Fenix finds out that his father is still alive and off the COG goes to find him and end this war by his invention and defeat Queen Myrrah. I thought the campaign was exciting, so many new enemies that made me think for a bit of what game am I really playing. What’s also great about this game, is that its 4 player co-op! Then again, you don’t get to choose what player you can be though. New weapons such as the Retro-Lancer, having the assault rifle along with a sharp blade on the tip for some awesome execution to the locusts! Many more, and to have the option to wield a Butcher’s Cleaver is ridiculous! There were some questions that haven’t been answered in the game, but it’s not to the point where we can hate on the story line. Overall, it’s breathtaking and will not make you want to put  down your controller. 

Arcade Mode:

Arcade Mode is like the original campaign, but your kills will actual mean something! You earn points by killing the foes, then earn more metals and achievements by doing so! This will also level you up. 

Horde/Beast:

Horde is just like how it is in Gears of War 2, but this time you will have to buy your weapons/ammo/barriers and post in order to defend yourself. It’s actual neat to have them implant the posts to where your team can set up traps such as turrets and barriers. In order to succeed in such, you will have to earn money! This is where your killing is involved! Make that money by your kills, and like how it is in the Gears 2 horde; you level up.

Beast:

Enjoy killing humans?! Where this is your chance. It’s only 12 waves though, 12 waves of just bashing on the humans by being a locust of your choice. Just like in Horde, you have to pay to become a locust of your choice. As the waves progress, you get to unlock more Locust to become. Not easy doing this on your own since its timed. One minute on the clock, but the more humans you kill the more time gets added. 

Option Menu/Stats:

Arcade - Beast- Horde = metals achieved! Each has their own meaning, and you can earn them more then once! 

This game pretty much pwns my heart right now, been waiting for this for a while now and it shows how much work they put into it! I could write more, but I wont. 

Oh yea, there’s also a sad part in this game. So sad, that it ripped my fuckin heart out! :( hate talking about it also! But its ok…

So I don’t think there’s much spoilers in this review, just my likes.

Popped my blog cherry.

SO! I guess I should make this blog more interesting, and write it in every once in a while about my gaming experiences. Since of course, this personal blog is going to be all about my gaming life! It's pretty much my second life anyways, most of my hard earned cash from my job goes to my lovely Xbox360. Right now, I've been playing a lot of Gears of War 2 since the third one comes out in a few weeks. Trying to level up in horde, but my job and social life has been in the way...of course! Not to mention, I do just have one TV and I do live with a roommate. It's been a while since I've blogged anything, anything about games. I used to have a 1up account and I used to write tons of blogs about the games I've played and weird scenarios via RP wise. But, the one item I can't wait to have is the fuckin  Gears of War Xbox 360.



Now that's what I'm talking about! It's a pretty penny, but I think of it as a early Christmas gift for myself. Before that comes out, I'm really looking forward to playing Dead Island. 



I'll be reviewing that game, but I know fersure that when Gears comes out...Dead Island will be placed on hold.
